Term of office
I have been a member of Cardiff for over fifty years, my first game being the Easter fixture against the Barbarians in 1971. I led the working group that resulted in the setting up of CF10 in 2016 and was its chair for the first five years of its existence.
Having spent a brief period in ‘retirement’, I was asked to apply for the post of Supporter Advisor in 2021 and was successfully appointed to the position; I was also re-appointed to that role for a second term at the end of 2024 before a series of unfortunate events abruptly ended my tenure.
I’ve been extensively involved in trying to preserve and promote the outstanding heritage of our club and was lead author of a recent history of the ground (Cardiff Arms Park: An Illustrated Architectural and Social History) which appeared under the company’s imprint. I am also author of the official publication for the forthcoming 150th anniversary season.
I recently re-joined the board of CF10. I’m also a mad cricket fan and sit on MCC’s Heritage and Collections Committee at Lord’s.
By profession, I was a clinical and academic clinical psychologist and Associate Clinical Director in the NHS.
