Hugh Campbell

Term of office

I have been a member of CF10 since the first year it was formed.

I have been a supporter of Cardiff Rugby just about all of my life. The first game I watched was in 1968, and my first season ticket was in 1975. Although there was a period that I did not attend games regularly because firstly I was playing and then I followed my son’s career.

I have been involved with Cardiff rugby supporter’s groups for a number of years. I am currently on the committee of both the existing supporter’s clubs. If you go into the members bar on RFC days you will see me as a face to supporters and also selling merchandise.
I was also a member of the RFC rugby committee, until I stepped down last season.

I am currently part of JSG Cymru and have attended meetings with the WRU .
I have been impressed with the work of CF10, particularly their role as “critical friend “ to Cardiff rugby. Keeping them honest and expressing the views of supporters. I also think that all supporters owe the trust a debt of gratitude for the superb work they are doing in preserving the heritage of our great club. It is for these reasons and the experience I have had joining with trust members that I would like to join the trust board to contribute in anyway that I can.
