A message from our friends at Cardiff Rugby Supporters Club:

Have your say about the RFC. As trust and RFC members we'll be there. We thoroughly applaud the open minded approach here.

Following the disappointment of not making the top 8 in the Principality Premiership, the Rugby Committee want to get the views of those who are interested in the future of the Cardiff RFC team. On Friday 20th January at 7.00pm a forum will be held in the Players’ Bar for any Cardiff Athletic rugby section member who has an interest in the future of the Cardiff RFC team going forward in the Principality Premiership. If you watch Cardiff RFC, and are interested in the future of the team, please attend the discussion.

Membership cards will need to be shown to gain entry to the Players’ bar. This forum will not discuss the lease or redevelopment of the Arms Park.’

Further details can be found at:

This is a really important discussion on the future of the RFC -it's the only bit of the current CAP set-up that has any concern for the history and heritage of rugby at Cardiff and it should be a key part of the plans for the new Arms Park. Failing to make the top 8 is clearly good enough, and a successful RFC is required to underpin a successful Cardiff Blues side - please do try and get along if you're an RFC member.
